Matthieu Ricard is a monk, scholar and writer. For the past 35 years, Mathieu has lived at Shechen Monastery in Nepal. For many years, Matthieu was the personal attendant to HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Mathieu is a board member of the Mind and Life Institute and received the French National Order of Merit for his humanitarian work in the East.
