“Wheel of Binding/Union” or “Wheel of Great Bliss”. A fierce yidam associated great bliss, emptiness, and the transformation of ordinary desire and aversion into awakened wisdom. Blue, wrathful-looking male with four faces and twelve arms, embracing his consort Vajravarahi (an emanation of Vajrayogini). His wrath represents powerful, compassionate activity that destroys ignorance, attachment, and other obstacles to awakening. A central figure in the Chakrasamvara tantra.
