- Suffixes: ག་ ང་ ད་ ན་ བ་ མ་ འ་ ར་ ལ་ ས་
- Spelling recitation order: Root Letter + Suffix (etc.) = Complete Sound
- Suffixes are pronounced after the root letter w/o a vowel sound.
- “Special” suffixes ད་ ན་ ལ་ ས་ change the sound of the vowels ཨུ and ཨོ to umlaut sounds (ü and ö). They add a dreng-bhoo sound (ཨེ “eh”) when there is no vowel marker.
- “Super special” suffixes ད་ and ས་ are silent (not pronounced after the root letter).
